Jennie F. (Franje) Bogaard, 94, formerly of Leighton and Pella, IA, passed away early Thursday morning at the Oskaloosa Care Center in Oskaloosa, IA. Jennie, wife of the late Herman Bogaard, is survived by five children and their spouses and their families: Larry and Mary Bogaard of Leighton, Chuck and Donna Bogaard of Leighton, Stanley and Velma Bogaard of Pella, Susan and Jerry White of Glendale, AZ, Janna and Ken Ver Meer of Leighton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, August 13, 2012 at 11 a.m., Ebenezer Reformed Church, Leighton, Iowa. Visitation will be Sunday at the Van Dyk- Duven Funeral Home with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m.
