Carl C. Rowland, 63, was born October 18, 1941 in Marion County, IA, and pasted away in Cartersville, GA. Services will be Thursday, December 9, 2004 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines, IA.

Carl was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by his sons, Carl R. and Chad Rowland, both of Des Moines; sisters, Bernice Leedom of Salt Lake City, UT, and Ellen (Dwight) Meyer of Council Bluffs; brother, Harold Gene Rowland of Georgia; and step-father, Leonard Meyer of Council Bluffs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jolene M. Rowland and parents, Harold and Doris Rowland.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
