Knoxville Express March 22, 1934

Bussey; March 19, 1934 Cora Dell Dean, wife of Isaac Henry Dean and daughter of Jesse Stephen and Lois Delight Locke, was born in Marion county Iowa January 4, 1878, and passed away at her home in Bussey, Iowa March 15, 1934, at the age of 56 years 2 months and 11 days.

She was united in marriage to Isaac Henry Dean on September 7, 1896. To this union were born 9 children, 2 of them Loren Curtis and Charlie Otis, having died in childhood. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, 4 sons, William of Des Moines, Floyd of Altoona, Roy and Jesse of Bussey, 3 daughters and 1 step-daughter,, Eva Parrish of Des Moines, Daisy Kipp of Berthoud, Co, and Sylvia of Bussey, also 2 brothers, Thurman Locke of Attica, and George Locke of Smith Center, Kansas, and 5 sisters, Mary McDonald of Medford, OR., Laura Brown, Los Angeles, Ca.,Rachael Carnego, Rochester, MN., Bessie Stafford of oskaloosa,IA and Martha Maring of Des Moines, besides 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of friends.

The deceased was converted 26 years ago and became a member of the Baptist Church at Providence Iowa.
