Obituary for Dannie Lee Redding
Dannie Lee Redding was born December 7, 1957 in Moline, Illinois the son of Robert Brose Redding and Frances Madeline (Stoops) Redding.
Dannie was raised in the Quad Cities until moving to Harvey, Iowa as a teenager. He graduated from Knoxville High School with the Class of 1975. He spent most of his life as a concrete finisher. Dannie was united in marriage to Robin Van Den Berg on July 16,1991 in New Jersey. They began sharing their lives with his daughters, Jessica, Lacey, and Kelcey. Dannie and Robin enjoyed being together camping, mushroom hunting, and attending the State Fair, concerts and Tulip Time. They were a very social couple and loved each other’s company and spending time with friends.
Dannie passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at his home, in Harvey, Iowa, at the age of 61 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Robin.
Those left to cherish Dannie’s memory include his daughters: Jessica (Justin) Colella; Lacey (Patrick) Deremiah and Kelcey (Joey) Firestine; grandchildren: Sullivan and Cooper Colella; Tate and Levi Deremiah and Malila and Scarlet Firestine and many other family members and friends.
A visitation for Dannie Lee Redding, age 61 of Harvey, Iowa will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. He has been cremated and burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
