Funeral services for Leone W. Chrisman, 90, of Corydon, who died Thursday, March 21, 2002, at Wayne County Hospital, were held Monday, March 25, at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment was at the Chariton Cemetery.

Leone was born on March 28, 1911, in Tracy, to Fern and Nillo Hodges. She was married to John Chrisman.

Leone was a homemaker. She moved to Corydon eight years ago after living near Allerton on a farm for many years. She loved flowers, gardening and turkeys and ducks.

She was a member of the Allerton Variety Club, Allerton and New York Garden Club and Womans Club of Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John.

She is survived by three daughters, Bev Culver of Corydon, Eileen Smith of Kalispell, Mont., and Margaret Wolett of Knoxville; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Mental Health Association.

Arrangements were made by Fielding Funeral Home.
