Edward Nicholls and Miss Georgia Wynn were married on a Thursday at Knoxville. On the following Monday the groom was killed by the fall of slate in a mine.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his name spelled Nichols and that he was born Feb. 1, 1897 and died May 15, 1916. He is buried in Graceland Cemetery.
