Mrs. Johanna Van Genderen died at her home in Pella at 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 28, 1922, from the ills of old age. Her age was 85 years, 2 months and 18 days. She is survived by two sons and three daughters. They are John of Pella, Cornelius of Pleasantville, Mrs. Wm. Schreiner of Pella, Mr. C. Burnside and Mrs. M. Montgomery of Des Moines. Funeral services were held at the home at one o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery.
