KNOXVILLE, IA. – James Francis Chrisman, 80, of Knoxville died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Pella Community Hospital in Pella. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery between Knoxville and Pella.

Mr. Chrisman was born in Marion County. He had been a farmer and livestock producer and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, J. Norman of Knoxville; and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
