Services for Grace will be Monday, January 16, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the New Hope Assembly of God Church 6800 Townsend Ave, Urbandale. Interment will be at the Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery, Merle Hay Road. Family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the New Hope Assembly of God Church. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Condolences for the family may be left at www.pierschbacherfuneralhome .

Grace Mae Chance was born December 22, 1997 in Grinnell, Iowa and passed away at the age of 14, January 12, 2012. She was a student at Urbandale Middle School active in sports, swing choir, and band. She loved her classes and looked forward to maybe one day being a marine biologist. Grace was a blessing to everyone who knew her. Everyone will remember her kind heart, quick wit, great sense of humor, and contagious smile.

Grace will be missed by her parents: Jay and Shelly; sister and best friend, Sarah; grandparents: Carol Chance and Bill Fuller of Rockport, TX, Galen and Lola Plumb of Melcher, Marge Hawn of Ankeny, and Barb Plumb of Ankeny; aunt: Sherry and Clint Franklin; uncles: Mark Plumb and Shane Wright; many cousins, and friends.
