Margery R. De Graaf

Services for Margery Rose De Graaf, 40, of Pella, who died March 20, 1995 at Pella Community Hospital, were held March 23 at Faith Christian Reformed Church. Garden Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.

The Revs. Ken Schepel and Isaac Meuzelaar officiated at the services. Music was provided by Lois Lanser, organist.

Pallbearers were Greg and Stuart Pleima, Merlin Van Zee, and Glenn, Calvin, David and James Meinders. Honorary bearers were Justin and Nathan De Graaf, Brandon Rozendaal, and Clint Van Steenis.

Mrs. De Graaf was born Oct. 19, 1954 at Des Moines, the daughter of Alvin G. and Minnie Wassink Van Zee. She was a 1968 graduate of Pella Christian Grade School, a 1972 graduate of Pella Christian High School, and a 1975 graduate of Dordt College.

n June 30, 1977, she married William David De Graaf at Faith Christian Reformed Church

She taught second grade for the Oskaloosa School of Christian Instruction from 1975 to 1979.
She was a charter member of Faith Christian Reformed Church.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law; her grandparents, Gerrit C. and Hattie Hoksbergen Van Zee and John H. and Cornelia Vande Kieft Wassink.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Jana Marie, at home; her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Florence) Meinders and Mrs. Terry (Nancy) Van Steenis; one brother and his wife, Arvan and Betty; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials have been established to Pella Christian Grade School and Hospice of Pella.
