Deloris Ward, 69, formerly of Bussey passed away on March 9, 2007, at the St. Thomas-Elgin Hospital, St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada.

Funeral services were held on March 12 at Williams Funeral Home with burial following at South Park Cemetery, St. Thomas, Ontario.

Deloris Lorraine Walker was born on March 18, 1937, in Bussey to Milo and Viola McFall Walker. She graduated from Bussey High School in 1956. She was a former member of the Nazarene Church in Bussey.

She married Marven Ward of Manitoba, Canada on Dec. 26, 1960.

She is survived by her husband Marven; one son, Austin (Tricia) Ward; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Other survivors include two sisters-in-law, Gloria (Nelson) Estabrooks of New Brunswick, Canada and Betty (Carl) Martin of Nova Scotia, Canada; neices and nephews, Cathy (Dale) Emanuel of Sorrento, Fla., Sandra (Steve) Harvey of Des Moines, Janet (Bob) Green of Dubuque, Tom (Kathy) Fryer of Oskaloosa and Norman (Dorey) Fryer of Orland, Fla.

Deloris was preced in death by her parents and one sister, Madonna (Charles) Fryer of Tracy.
