Knoxville Express Thursday May 3, 1945

Anna Catherine, daughter of George and Kittyann Lintner Brause, was born January 21, 1870 in Schuylkill county, Pennsylvania, and died at her home in Bussey. Tuesday, April 21, 1945 at the age of 75 years and 3 months.

The parents came to Marion county, settling near Attica in 1870 and here the deceased grew to womanhood.

On December 21, 1905? the deceased was united in marriage with C.R. Neifert and to them five children were born. one daughter, Beulah preceded her in death.

Mrs. Neifert is survived by her husband, four daughters, Lois Mrs. Cecil Trinkle, Irma at home, Opal, Mrs. Clarence Marsh, Dana, Mrs. Carl Carlson, all of the Bussey community, a son, Aura I. Brause, of Colport, two brothers Frank and Samuel, both of knoxville; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Vera Glenn, of Knoxville, Mrs. Ruth Woody and Mrs. Mettle Amsberry, of Des Moines. There are eighteen grandchildren. five grandsons are serving with the armed forces of our country.

Early in life Mrs. Neifert was converted and united with the Valley Evangelical church, later transferring her membership to the Bussey Methodist church where she has been faithful and loyal in her support and attended the _____ as long as her health permitted.

Funeral services were conducted from the Bussey Methodist church Saturday afternoon April 23 by Rev. B.? H. Finch, assisted by Rev. R.? C. Sears. burial was made in the Greenlawn cemetery.

Mrs. L___ Neifort, Hallie and Noel, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Dooley, of Attica, Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Neifert, Mrs. A.H. Cox of Newton, Glen Neifert, Indianola, Della and Louise Ridnouer, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Amsberry, Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Woody, Mrs. Dick Reynolds of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Loynachan, of Harvey, Mrs. T.J. Glenn, Mrs. Jessie Chambers of Hamilton, Mrs. Tobe Reed, Mrs. Homer Stewart , of Albia and Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Marsh of Tracy.
