Services for Flora Alice Jones

Funeral services for Flora Alice Jones, who died Jan 8, 1963 at the home of her brother, Floyd Roland in Knoxville, were held from the Bybee & Davis funeral home, Jan 10 with Rev Howard M. Leasure officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard Jones, Don Jones, John Shuster, LeRoy Spencer, David Roland, and George Scott. Mrs Helen Sutherland, organist, accompanied Mr and Mrs. Robert Pitt.

Flora Alice, daughter of Hiram and Emma Roland, was born Feb 6, 1885. She was united in marriage to James O. Jones, Aug 20, 1901 and to this union 14 children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four children, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors are her children Clint, Oscar and Frank of Illinois, Myra (Mrs Bill Spencer), of Albia, Marie (Mrs E. Fuller), Ottumwa, Eva (Mrs Bill Koopman), Newton, Maxine (Mrs Carol Chrismore), Denver, Colo., James of Pella, Harry of Marysville, Mo., and Richard E. of Knoxville; three brothers, Ben and Floyd of Knoxville and Theodore of Truro; two sisters, Hallie (Mrs. Tom Young)of Des Moines and Lucille Mattix of Spirit Lake; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
