A memorial service for Clifford Dean Stilwell will be held on Aug. 26 at 1 p.m. at the Hamilton Methodist Church, Hamilton.

Cliff was born on Jan. 4, 1935, to Alva and Beulah Stilwell. He passed away peacefully on June 5, 2006, in Roseburg, Ore. After high school he went on to college to earn a bachelor's degree in nursing. He worked in the VA Hospitals for over 30 years.

On Dec. 27, 1953, he married Barbara Heffner. Cliff served in the Korean War Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bernard Stilwell.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Barbara Stilwell of Roseburg, Ore.; one sister, Lula Long of Des Moines and one brother, Dale Stilwell and wife Wilda of Des Moines; two daughters, Pam DeMoss and husband Danny of Knoxville and Laura Moore and her husband Mark of Klamath Falls, Ore. and a son, Jeff Stilwell and wife Mary of Yakima, Wash. and seven grandchildren.
