Viers, Hiram Killed by Lightning 1893

During the thunder storm Thursday morning Hiram Viers, of Swan, was struck and instantly killed by lightning. Viers was a young man of 21 years, and at the time of his death was chopping in the timber north of Swan. His body was very slightly injured, but he I was completely stripped of clothing.
