Affidavit

I, Emery L. Brewer of Marion County, State of Iowa, aged 44 years, do solemnly swear that I am acquainted with David F. Kingery and Elva J. Brewer and are parties for the marriage of whom a license is applied for; that said David F. Kingery is of the age of 22 years and upward, of sound contracting mind and unmarried, that said Elva J. Brewer is of the age of 16 years and upward, of sound contracting mind and unmarried, and that there is no legal impediment to said parties entering the marriage state, to the best of my knowledge, information and belief, and that I am not interested in the issue of said license.

Marriage License

License is hereby granted to any person authorized to solemnize Marriages, according to the laws of said State, TO JOIN IN MARRIAGE, David F. Kingery and Elva J. Brewer of the County aforesaid; and the person joining them in Marriage is also required to make due return of the Certificate annexed, to the Clerk of the District Court, within ninety days, of the names of the parties, time and place of Marriage, and by whom solemnized.

In TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto met my hand and affixed the seal of the District Court of said County, at my office in Knoxville in said County, this 24th day of May A.D. 1904.
