My grandfather George A Brown was born in Fremont County in 1883-any connection?

John Brown, along with 4 of his sons, spent time in Fremont County, establshing the Iowa Underground Railroad and planning the attacks of Bloody Kansas. There is rumor of a family connection, but it is not an official family connection, if it is true.
