ZOLLARS.-Died, at 4 o'clock in the morning of August 22, 1889, of heart disease, at his home in the northern part of the city, URIAH ZOLLARS, aged 72 years, 7 months and 17 days. The funeral will be held from the Friends' Yearly meeting-house, at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Aug. 25. This bereavement comes with startling suddenness, the deceased being in his usual health Wednesday evening. Mr. Zollars was one of the

old residents of this city, having been in the county for the past twenty-four years. He was a most exemplary citizen, a kind and beloved husband and father, and a man universally respected. He and his loved companion, who had walked by his side through all these years, were anticipating the celebration of their fiftieth wedding anniversary in the coming January, and to her so deeply bereft will go out the ten-

der sympathy of many friends at this hour. Six children are also left to mourn a loved

father-two sons, Morgan and Charles, and four daughters, Mrs. Charles F. Foehlinger, Mrs. G. S. Prine, Mrs. Ellwood and Hannah, to all of whom the condolence of many friends is extended. (Oskaloosa Herald, August 29, 1889)
