MERKLE. - Died, of cholera infantum, at the parents' home, 1109 High avenue west, at 7:20 P.M., August 21, 1897, KATIE DORA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Merkle, aged 1_ months. Funeral from German Lutheran church at 1:30 p.m., August 23, and interment in Old cemetery (Oskaloosa Evening Herald, August 23, 1897, p. 3)
