OKEY - Died, at her home, near Mauch Chunk, Thursday, Feb. 23, at 8 o'clock A.M., of rheumatism of the heart, KATE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Okey, aged 15 years. Funeral Friday, at 11 o'clock, from residence to Bedwell cemetery. (Oskaloosa Daily Herald, Feb. 23, 1888, p. 4)
