Mrs. Emma N. Nicholson, widow of John Nicholson, 406 1/2 Third avenue east, died at her home at 1:15 a.m. this morning, Saturday, April 26, 1941, at the age of 81 years. Surviving are one son, Homer of Oskaloosa, and one daughter, Miss Esther Nicholson of Oskaloosa. Funeral services will be in the College Avenue Friends church at 2 p.m., Monday, April 28. Burial in Forest cemetery. Herbert Huffman, pastor of the Friends church, will be in charge (likely Oskaloosa Herald, April 26, 1941).
