Oskaloosa, IA. - Phyllis Sheely of Oskaloosa died of cancer Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was 65. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bates Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.

Mrs. Sheely, a lifelong Oskaloosa resident, retired from the C. L. Barnhouse Co.

She is survived by three sons, Randall of Oskaloosa, Rodney of Maxwell and Robin of Iowa City; two daughter, Rhonda Sterner of Torrington, Wyo., and Rochelle Sheely of Oskaloosa; her mother, Eva Harnden of Oskaloosa; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at the funeral chapel, where the family will greet friends from 7 to 8 tonight. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Mahaska County. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register Tues 13 Aug 1991.
