Forest Albert Pippen, 85, died Monday at the Mahaska County Care facility.
He was born Feb. 21, 186, the son of Frank and Effie Fisher Pippen.
Surviving are a nephew, Weldon K. Caldwell of Christiansburg, Va., and several cousins.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Highland Cemetery in New Sharon with the Rev. Scott Woodworth of the New Sharon United Methodist Church officiating. The Garland Van Arkel Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
