Senator Blanchard Dead.
Hon. L. C. Blanchard, a prominent attorney and well known Republican politician a former circuit judge and, a member of the state Senate, died suddenly of heart failure at Oskaloosa. He was ill only an hour.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this is Lucian Caleb who is buried in Forest Cemetery and was born April 15, 1838 and died March 1, 1908.
