DROPS DEAD AT WHEEL OF CAR: Robert Hamilton of Barnes City is Heart Victim.

Robert W. Hamilton, 62, living 4 miles south of Barnes City and employed at the Lacey Hotel, died of heart failure while driving his automobile in the 700 block on South Market Street at 6 o'clock, Thursday evening.

The body was removed to the Wilcox/Garland Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Hamilton, his daughter, Louise, two brothers, George Hamilton of Wyocena, WI, John Hamilton of Portage, WI, and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cameron of Okee, WI, Mrs. Imo Morse of Poynette, WI, and Mrs. Eleanor Montgomery of Medina, NY.

Funeral services will be held here at the Central M.E. Church at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon, February 7, 1932.

The death is believed to have resulted from over-exertion brought on by an attempt to crank the car as it was parked in front of the hotel.

Unable to start he machine, Mr. Hamilton called Johnson Motor Company, 710 South Market Street for aid. Glen Johnson came to the hotel and toward Mr. Hamilton's car south on Market Street in an attempt to start the motor.

Approaching the Johnson shop, Mr. Johnson looked back and indicated to Mr. Hamilton he would turn in the alley next to the shop. Having made the turn, he again glanced back and saw Mr. Hamilton slumped down in the seat. The man had evidently died just prior to reaching the shop. He was carried into the shop and Dr. F. J. Jarvis was called, but he was pronounced dead.
