STANLEY.--The funeral of Jesse
Stanley was held from the F. C. Will-
iams residence, 221 South Market St.,
At 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, February 18,
1913, Rev. J. M. Lemmon officiating.
There was a good attendance and
quite a number of floral pieces. While
not a member of Phil Kearney Post,
the following comrades acted as pall-
bearers: E. R. Hatcher, J. W. My-
ers, J. N. Endicott, James Adair, A. J.
Bass, James Wadding and M. V. Vree-
land. Several other comrades were
present. Mrs. J. W. Myers had charge
of the music, assisted by Bertha and
Faye Martin, Laura Southwick, Ellen
Ross and Walter Bryant. Interment
in Forest cemetery. Jacob H. Stanley,
the son, departed last evening for his
home in Manhattan, Kansas, via Des
Moines.
