Mrs. William (Minnie) McKeag, age 79, died at her home in Delta Sunday afternoon, January 25, 1970. She was born October 25, 1890, in Mahaska county, the daughter of Melvin and Sabina Morrow Walker. She married William McKeag March 20, 1907 and he preceded her in death September 1, 1963.

In early life she attended the Methodist church and was a member of the Gold Star Mothers, World War II.

She is survived by a son, William O. Jr. of Delta; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret White of Keswick, Mrs. C. C. (Pauline) Bensler of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Wendell (Alice) Kriese of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Verne (Hazel) Boomershine of Delta; 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Dotsie Gorsuch of Barnes City and Mrs. Marvin Dicus of Des Moines.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. McKeag was preceded in death by two sons, James Melvin, who died in World War II and Harold Thomas in 1954; a daughter, Della Louise in infancy; four grandsons, Ned Allen McKeag, Marion Melvin McKeag, Barry Bensler and Larry McKeag; and three brothers.

Services will be held Wednesday at one o'clock at the Reynolds Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John G. Ballensky officiating. Mrs. Gene Butler is the organist. Interment will be in the Springfield cemetery near Delta.
