WHITE - Mrs. Tacey Amelia WHITE, widow of E.K. WHITE, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.D. HUTCHINS, at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, May 5, 1940 at the age of 88 years. The E. K. WHITE family was an old pioneer family in Oskaloosa; Mr. WHITE was in the feed business. Mrs. WHITE has been active in the First Christian church, teaching a class of the Sunday school there for over 50 years. Her most recent class has been the Loyal Berean group. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. HUTCHINS, two sons, Charles H. of Santa Rosea, Calif., and Harry E. of Marion, Ind. Funeral services of Powers funeral home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 1940 with Rev. Edgar L. Knight in charge. Burial in Forest cemetery.
