EVANS - Mrs. Hazel EVANS of Beacon died at the Mahaska hospital this morning, May 6, 1940, at the age of 37 years. She leaves four children, a duaghter, Rosemary; three sons, Charles Robert, Dale and Wayne; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David DAVIS of Beacon; one sister, Helen; two brothers, Harry and Roland. Private funeral serices at Wilcox-Garland chapel at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternooon, May 8. Burial in Beacon cemetery.
