Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Little LOFLAND was born at Mt. Morris, Ill., on April 19, 1861.
She came here with her family as a girl. On December 28, 1881 she was united in marriage to Chas. E. LOFLAND who passed away on April 10, 1941.
To this union three children were born, two sons: John H. LOFLAND of New York, Chas. Ewing LOFLAND of Chicago and one duaghter, Helen LOFLAND VAN SICKLE of Denver.
Mrs. LOFLAND has been in failing health for some time and only recently went to Denver to be with her daughter. She was with her daughter in Denver when death caem on September 11, 1942.
She leaves to mourn her passing beside her three children (grown); four grand-children and one great grand-daughter, a sister, Miss Katherine LITTLE of Chicago and a brother A. B. LITTLE of Hartell, Alberta Canada and a host of friends who have loved and admired her through the years.
Funeral services were held at the Wilcox Garland chapel Monday afternoon, September 14th, with Rev. J. Stewart Brown of the First Presbyterian church in charge. Burial in the Forest cemetery.
