RILEY--- James Elmer Riley, 97. a resident of Tower Park nursing home, died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Mahaska hospital.

Born Nov. 15, 1868, in Corning, he had resided in Oskaloosa for approximately 50 years, and was retired from Railroad maintenance work.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mona Belle Cloe of Oskaloosa; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending at Powers funeral home.
