The entire community in the vicinity of his home is shocked and saddened upon learning of the death of Albert Rice of Wright, at Mercy hospital, Oskaloosa, Thursday night. He had been in the hospital since Monday and appendicitis was his difficulty. He leaves a wife and two children. The deceased was the second son of W. I. Rice, whose farm home is southeast of Oskaloosa, and to which family, along with the widow and orphan children, deepest sympathy is extended.
