George Slagter, 90, Oskaloosa
OSKALOOSA — George Slagter, 90, of Oskaloosa, died March 29, 2007, at Mahaska Hospital, Oskaloosa.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday at the Central Reformed Church, Oskaloosa; the Rev. Don DeGlopper officiating with a 10:45 a.m. family prayer service in the wing of the church. Burial with military rites by the Oskaloosa American Legion, V.F.W. and D.A.V. will be in Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa.

Visitation will begin after 11 a.m. today at Bates Funeral Chapel, Oskaloosa, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.
