Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Dorothy Helm of Marshalltown, formerly of Oskaloosa, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Helm, 403 Rosenberger avenue, Oskaloosa, to John B. Casey, son of Mrs. Bernice Casey of Marshalltown, which took place at 7:30 Tuesday evening, June 16, 1936, at the rectory of St. Patrick's cathedral in Dubuque with Rev. Anthony Chihak of Marshalltown officiating.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Harold McCammond of Marshalltown.
Mrs. Casey has been employed in the freight office of the M. & St. L. in Marshalltown and Mr. Casey is employed as yard master by the M. & St. L. at Marshalltown. Mr. and Mrs. Casey are living at 709 West Boone street in Marshalltown. (source unknown; likely the Oskaloosa Herald)
