At the home of her mother, Mrs. Albert Clyde Robertson, 505 north C street, the marriage of Miss Mildred Robertson to Everett N. Duncan, both of Oskaloosa, took place at 1:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon, August 15, 1936. Rev. W. E. Cullinan of St. Mary's Catholic church officiated at the single ring ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of the Oskaloosa high school and the University of Wisconsin. She has been employed at the Emergency Relief office since.
Mr. Duncan, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Duncan of Allerton, is a graduate of the Allerton high school and the Iowa State college of Ames, where he was a member of the Theta Delta Chi fraternity. He is now Rural Resettlement supervisor in Oskaloosa.
Following a wedding trip to northern Minnesota, the couple will return here and be at home at 307 1/2 north Ninth street after Sept. 1. (source unknown; likely The Oskaloosa Herald).
