Towns-Bridges marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Montgomery announce the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy Towns, to Jack Bridges, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Bridges of Oskaloosa.
The wedding took place October 17, 1940, at the Methodist parsonage in Lancaster, Mo., performed by Rev. Gather, Methodist minister.
The bride wore a black crepe dress with velvet trimming and was attended by Edith Patrick, who also wore black. The bridegroom was attended by Floyd Jackson.
The couple are at home on a farm a mile and a half east of Oskaloosa. (likely from The Oskaloosa Herald, October 1940).
