Frances Fern Carmean of Oskaloosa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Carmean and Frederick Max Parlet, of Oskaloosa, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Parlet, were married at the Central M.E. church parsonage at 7:00 o'clock Monday evening, May 1. Dr. Charles M. Edmondson, pastor, performed the double ring ceremony. The couple was attended by the bride's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Carmean of Oskaloosa. The bride was attired in a dress of royal blue silk and japonica accessories.
