ANNOUNCE MARRIAGE Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Van Asdall of Oskaloosa, route No. 4, announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Evelyn, to John Van Maanen, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Van Maanen of Eddyville. The couple were married Saturday afternoon, September 20, 1941, at the Methodist parsonage in Lancaster, Mo. Rev. Lyle Gaither, pastor of the church, officiated. The bride chose for her wedding dress, a street length dress of soldier blue crepe with brown accessories. Mrs. Van Maanen attended the Oskaloosa high school in 1939 and 1940. The bridegroom was graduated from Oskaloosa high school with the class of 1940. Mr. and Mrs. Van Maanen will be at home on a farm east of Oskaloosa after December 1.
