T. H. SHANE requests us to say, that the ladies who so kindly gave him a serenade, Monday night, have placed him under many obligations. It grieves us to know that since our editorial career commenced we have never received anything of this kind. We love music. We have laid by the fence (not drunk) many an hour to hear the wind whistles among the slivers.
