Miss Ruth Powell and George Gutch, both of near Eddyville were married in Oskaloosa Saturday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. J. E. Oetjen, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church. They were attended by Miss Irene Hynick and George Antolik.

They returned to Eddyville where dinner was served to the bridal party at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Gutch.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Powell and is a graduate of the local high school. The groom is a farmer, and the couple will make their home at the Gutch farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Gutch were guests at a family diner at the Powell home on Sunday.
