Miss Helen Awtry, daughter of O. P. Awtry, and Frank Reed, son of Mrs. Rose Reed, were married Monday afternoon, July 10, 1933. The ceremony was performed at the Christian church parsonage in Oskaloosa, with the Rev. Mr. Williams officiating and using the single ring service. The wedding was witnessed by Miss Velma Awtry, sister of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. John L. Gallagher, all of Eddyville. The bride is a graduate of the local high school and attended Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls for a short time. For the past eight years, she has been employed in the local post office, where she held the position of assistant postmaster.

The groom is well known in the community and is engaged in the auctioneer business. For the past four hears, he has been one of the partners and promoters of the Co-operative Sales company, located here.

Mr. and Mrs. Reed left for a trip through the Black Hils and the Yellowstone Park, and plan to return via the southern route from the Rocky Mountains, after a stay of about two weeks.

They plan to establish their new home in the property formerly owned by William Secress located on South Third street, and purchased by Mr. Reed several weeks ago.

The Tribune joins with their many friends in congratulations.
