Miss Helen Lemmon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Lemmon, and Kenneth Powell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Powell, were married at the home of the groom's parents on Sunday afternoon, September 19, 1933. Rev. Wm. G. Bohl, pastor of the M.E. church, officiated, using the single-ring service. Miss Ruth Powell, a sister, and John Q. Powell Jr., a cousin of the groom were their attendants.

The young couple are well known in the community, both having graduated from the local high school. At present, Mrs. Powell is librarian of the Eddyville Public Library, and the groom is working in partnership with his father on a farm east of town, where they will make their home for the present.
