Jo Ann Busch, 69, of Winterset died of cardiac arrest Oct. 27, 1999, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services were 10:30 a.m. Oct. 29 at United Methodist Church in Macksburg. The Rev. Neil Platon officiated with burial in the Moon Cemetery in Madison County. The Ochiltree Funeral Service, Winterset, had charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Busch was born June 10, 1930 in Winterset to Howard and Grace (Strable) Lull. On Aug. 23, 1948 she married Douglas A. Busch at the First Christian Church in Winterset. She was a homemaker and employed as a clerk at Harrison's Variety Store in Winterset for 14 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Macksburg, Needlecraft Club and was a past noble grand of the Hawthorne Rebekah Lodge No. 350.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas A. Busch of Winterset; two daughters, Marsha Underwood of Villisca, and Kim Antisdel of Bedford; a son Craig (wife Linda) Busch of Macksburg; two sisters, Marge (husband Donald) DuBois and Darlene Yuill of Mulberry, Ind.; two brothers, Dean (wife Greg) Lull and Jack (wife Karen) Lull all of Des Moines; two sisters-in-law, Maxine (husband Leland) Swanger of Nevinville and Mary Busch of Long Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
