Rex Murrell, Winterset

Rex Murrell, 66, of Winterset, died April 9, 1995 of kidney ailment at his residence. Funeral services are today, April 12, at 10 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. The Rev. Bobby Dickerson will officiate the services with burial at Barney Cemetery in Madison County.

He was born in Hamburg on Oct. 14, 1928 to George Edward and Martha Madeline (Wilson) Murrell. He had lived most of his lifetime in Winterset and was a member of the First Christian Church in Winterset.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives include one nephew, Russell Wilson; two great-nieces, Rushell and Tammy Wilson; and one great-nephew, Todd Wilson.
