JOSEPHINE NEIDT, Truro

Services for Josephine Neidt, 68, Truro, who died April 1 (1987), at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, were held Saturday, April 4, at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Ann Louise Weisenfluh of Truro officiating. Burial was at the Ebenezer Cemetery.

Born at her grandparents home in Truro July 16, 1918, she was the daughter of Otto Ray and Nina Porter Beeler. She attended Garrett country school in Madison County and Truro schools. On June 24, 1939 she was married to LaVerne Neidt at her parents home in Truro.

Mrs. Neidt was a member of the United Methodist Church in Truro, the Women's Society of Christian Service, the Women's Guild at the Methodist Church, the Oak Run Circle, a Sunday school teacher for many years and a 4-H leader.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Don and wife of Maitland, Mo.; daughters, Sonia Allen and husband Dan of Winterset, and Nina Lynn House and husband John of Bolckow, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; and brothers, Carl Beeler and wife Louise of Truro and Bill Beeler and wife Donna of Earlham.

Josephine Neidt Rites Satur.

Josephine Neidt, 68, of Truro died Wednesday, April 1, 1987 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services were held Saturday, April 4 from the Kale Funeral Home in Truro. The Rev. Ann Louise Weisenfluh of Truro officiated the 11 a.m. rites. Interment was at Ebenezer Cemetery in Madison County.

Josephine Neidt was born July 16, 1918 at her grandparents’ home in Truro. Daughter of Otto Ray Beeler and Nina Belle Porter, she attended Garrett Country School in Madison County and Truro schools. On June 24, 1939, she married Laverne Neidt at her parents’ home in Truro. Three children were born to this union.

A housewife, Neidt was a Sunday school teacher and a 4-H leader for several years. She was a member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service, The Women’s Guild at the Methodist Church in Truro and the Oak Run Circle.

Survivors include her husband, Laverne of Truro; one son, Don Neidt and wife, Virginia of Maitland, Missouri; two daughters, Sonia Allen and husband, Dan of Winterset and Nina Lynn House and husband, John of Bolckow, Missouri; and two brothers, Carl Beeler and wife, Louise of Truro and Bill Beeler and wife, Donna of Earlham.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
