Mrs. Amy Stuart of Winterset, died at the Winterset hospital on Friday, April 2, at the age of 69 years. Funeral services were held at the Ramsey and Richards Funeral Home on Sunday, April 4, at 2:30 p.m. Interment was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Amy Stuart was born August 3, 1873, in Base County, Missouri. She joined the Church of Christ at the age of 17 and has served God faithfully in her Christian life. She was united in marriage to James William Stuart in September, 1901. To this union were born two daughters and two sons. In the Stuart family, there were two step-sons, Carl of Des Moines, and Ralph, who died five years ago.

She is survived by four children: Ellen Ball of Koshkonong, Missouri, Mae Clyde of Winterset, John Stuart of Des Moines, and James Stuart of Des Moines; seventeen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
