REDFIELD, IA.—Services for Monte Benedict of Redfield will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in McGinnis Cemetery at Patterson. Mr. Benedict, 22, died Friday near Adel of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Born in Iowa City, he lived in Redfield most of his life and worked as a remodeler.

He is survived by his parents, Carl and Rose Benedict of Redfield; and two brothers, Chuck of Grand Island, Neb., and Terry of Redfield.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral for Monte Benedict, 22, of Redfield was held May 21, 1990 at Fisher Funeral Home at Redfield. Mr. Benedict died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Adel on May 18. Burial was in the McGinnis Cemetery at Patterson.

The son of Carl and Rose Benedict, he was born at Iowa City on July 13,1967. He lived in Redfield most of his life and was employed as a remodeler.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Newt and Mary Benedict of Lorimor and Byron and Helen Faux of St. Charles.

Survivors include his parents, Carl and Rose, and two brothers, Chuck of Grand Island and Terry of Redfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Monte Benedict Memorial Fund.
