Ottilie Hofmann Connelly

Ottilie was born November 23, 1935 in Nuremburg, Germany the daughter of Frederick and Thekla (Eichorn) Hofmann. She lived in Winterset for 15 years. During her working career, she worked customer service in the grocery industry and later worked at Parr Manufacturing, retiring in 2003. Ottilie was an avid reader. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and liked to collect porcelain dolls. She was also an excellent cook.

Ottilie is survived by her two daughters, Gloria Skoczen (Robert) of Oak Forest, IL and Sharon Hart (Mark) of Winterset; four sons, Michael Connelly (Elaine) of Chicago, IL, Mark Connelly (Suzanne) of Des Moines, Peter Connelly (Patty) of Lawrenceville, GA, and Kurt Connelly of Lawrenceville, GA; and 7 grandchildren, Lisa Skoczen, Michelle Connelly, Derek Connelly, Krysten Connelly, Nicholas Connelly, Kristopher Connelly, and Scott Hart.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Trudy Teeths and Lotti Barnett.
