Funeral services were held today at Sorensen Brothers’ chapel for Mrs. Abigail E. Winter, 75, former resident of Hayward, who died Saturday at St. Helena. Interment will be in the family plot at St. Charles, Iowa.
Widow of the late John E. Winter, Mrs. Winter was the mother of John Mack Winter, Mrs. Millison Studt, Mrs. Margaret Walker and Mrs. Elyse Rhodes. She was a native of Ohio, and had lived in Hayward for 19 years. Her late husband passed away here Aug. 27, 1948.
