Donola Nadine Leggett
February 5, 1922 - April 7, 2018

Donola Nadine Leggett, daughter of Ray Motsinger and Mabel (Shafer) Motsinger was born February 5, 1922 in Worth County, Missouri and passed from this life Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Legacy House in Indianola, Iowa at 96 years of age.

Donola graduated from Grant City Missouri High School. She attended Northwest Missouri State University and received her teaching degree. She taught school for a few years in Truro before being united in marriage to Orval William Leggett on May 27, 1951 in Cromwell, Iowa. Following her marriage she stayed at home to raise her family and be a homemaker.

Donola was a member of Truro Congregational UCC Church and was a member of the Jolly Fu ladies group at the church. She enjoyed her flower garden and cooking.

Those relatives who preceded Donola in death were her parents, Ray and Mabel Motsinger; husband, Orval Leggett; brothers, Channing, Chester, and Danny Motsinger; and sister, Chelsea Parsons.

Donola leaves to cherish her memory; son, William "Bill" (Joy) Leggett of Indianola, IA; step-son, Dale (Ardis) Leggett of Beatrice, NE; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and many friends.
